ok bitch, cool colors, but i'll go for the white one personally (the other one is too dark and i don't see it fitting)
few things though, first u don't need to put "contacts" (it is a business card, that's all u have on it!)
second, putting ur "blog" is usually unprofessional (whether it is on ur business card or ur cv...) blogs are usually personal, u need to show a more serious and professional side of u when u present urself for business. if u want to put an online link to ur work, write simply "portfolio" instead, and make sure that the link u indicate on ur card shows only ur work (no personal remarks, gigs or anything)
if u still want them to see ur blog, u can put a link to it in ur official online portfolio indicated on ur card.
what else, for the size of the contacts, i think it is a little bit big, it chould be shwey smaller and as for the font itself personally i would go for a sans serif (verdana, lily UPC or anything else that would fit with the rest).
i love the general design and style and the little drawing a droite (cool), bass u can make it a little bit bigger.
u know what? i'll send u an image for that one, to show u what i mean (u decide for urself which one u like more)
euuuh...that's it i think, but cool business card!
as for ur title i have no idea what would u put, i guess u can put something like animation/storyboarding (or screewriter), ino "animation" could group the characters, designs and even the story, bass when u put "/screenwriting" too, u emphasize on the special part u want the most.
for example i am a graphic designer but i like to go toward illustration too if i can, so i would put on my business card (3a fikra u reminded me that i need one !!) "graphic designer/illustrator", u know what i mean? and as for the "animation director" title, i don't think it's good, coz u are not an animation director yet (but hopefully soon he he), again, for example i am a graphic designer and i might be one day an art director, so ma b7ot min hala2 on my card "art director", bass sir art director, i'll change my card! (hala2 khaline le2i sheghel first he he he he)
but anyway that's up to u, i don't know exactly how things are devided in the animation business, i might've goten the different devisions wrong!
if i knew the comment will be this long i would've emailed them to u he he he yala hope it could be helpfull!!!
bye bitch and good luck in finding a job!
Hey, I agree w/ sawssan. Whit is better, more business like. and remove contacts. You wanna put on it what you are working now. If you do get that portfolio then that is were you express yourself and what you want to be.
Christie, christie, christie. How many times do I have to tell you to please contact me whe you have things like these to create. I mean, graphic designing and conceptual advertising are not your toys to play with. Leave them to the professionals. Lol.
Your whole card should be re-thought and re-designed. Call me when you can so I can help you with it.
And all you guys out there, forgive Ranma for she is not a graphic designer although she is a wonderful and very talented animator.
We'll show you how the card evolves to become a butterfly, a professionaly and conceptualy designed card that fully reflects the identity of Marie-Christine herself.
Love you though, Ranma.
Your father,
Sincerely,
Panda Genema Saotome.
Oh, and by the way, Sawssan is totaly right.
Leave it to us.
Right, sawssan.
I will work with you on the layout, Christie and then you can be proud of a good business card that totaly reflects teh animator in you.
This card seriously doesn't.
Hasta luego.
